This week we created release 0.5.0. This release is focused around Oracles.
The Oracle WebSocket API is used to interact with Oracles on the blockchain (see Oracles — intended usage). The documentation for the API can be found at https://github.com/aeternity/protocol/blob/epoch-v0.5.0/epoch_api/oracle_ws_api.md
The release also includes:
- Refinements of the HTTP API — replacing Base64 encoding with Base58Check.
- Expansion of the HTTP API, enabling the building of apps on top of it.
- Introduction of a Docker image for the node.
- Improvements in the stability of the Testnet.
In addition to the above we are releasing a first draft of the Naming System publicly at https://github.com/aeternity/protocol/blob/master/AENS.md.
