We are thrilled to announce the launch of the first phase of AE token migration. Now, anyone eager to include their AE in æternity’s Genesis Block is able to do it.
Dear Community,
After months of hard work and preparation, the æternity team is launching Phase 0: the first phase of AE token migration to the æternity Mainnet.
Anyone eager to transfer their AE to the Mainnet is now able to do so, using the Token Migration web page:

DO NOT SEND AE TOKENS TO THE MIGRATION CONTRACT DIRECTLY!
Users should follow the instructions on the token migration web page (link above). It is highly recommended to read the FAQ and watch the guide videos we have prepared before starting the migration process. Find links to these resources below.
This first phase of AE Token Migration will last until November 25, 2018; 23:59:59 CET
Here is the predicted AE token migration schedule:
- End of Phase 0 (pre-Mainnet): November 25, 2018
- End of Phase 1: February 2019
- End of Phase 2: May 2019
- End of Phase 3: After 2 September, 2019 (Ethereum AE tokens become non-transferable)
Users will still be able to migrate their AE tokens after the end of Phase 3 as long as they don’t use a smart contract to manage them. More information to come.
